Why I’m Here
I’ve been using Livejournal faithfully since mid-2001. It brought me many of my closest friends and offered me a multitude of communities in which I felt at home. Of late, however, Livejournal has decided that, although some creative content is protected by law, it poses a business liability not worth the patronage of the creators of that content. Although not specifically targeted, and not likely to be, I have decided to abandon its services, and any content that might attract viewers has been moved, or is still in the process.
I still watch for my friends’ posts, and comment, and keep my LJ account. I just don’t post there anymore.
