Jannowrimo and a Project

So [info]crazyloststar and I made a pact to participate in Jannowrimo, which is like NaNoWriMo, except it’s during January, which has less going on.  She went with a goal of 25,000, and I decided to be realistic with myself and go with 15,000.  I started out with a story about an android, but it was too hard, so then I went with something else on day 4.  I am on target!  I hope I can make it, though I don’t imagine there will be an ending.  Original fiction just isn’t as rewarding.

Went home for Christmas, but before I did, Julien and I had a little Christmas time so he could have his new toys and wear his Christmas hat.

And here’s some of Julien not at Christmas.

And today I decided I needed to make a platform base for the doll mattress I’d made before.  This is actually what my bed platform looks like, but without a headboard.

Here it is with just the cardboard and masking tape to hide the cardboard edges.

Now it’s painted!

And as I was drafting this thing out, I realized it was going to be hard to store when not in use, so I designed it with a hinge so it could fold up, and the headboard is stuck on with velcro.

:D  That’s all.  Haven’t seen Avatar.  [info]crazyloststar moved out last month.  Looking forward to working on Unconditional again after Jannowrimo is done. \o/

    OMG IT IS ADORABLE.

And I still think you could have written 25,000 words. IF I CAN YOU CERTAINLY CAN because you write much better than I do. <3
